Q: Replace first edition Apple Watch with new edition

When you do so it will create a backup of the Watch. Click on the link on the top that you came here from, Set up your Apple Watch and follow the instructions.

• Unpair your original Apple Watch using the Watch app on your iPhone:
  • Your watch will be backed up to your iPhone before being erased.
  • As part of the process, Activation Lock will also be removed from the watch (unless this is done, the new owner will be unable to use it).

• Then pair your new Apple Watch, choosing the option to Restore from Backup during set up:
