I received my iPhone 7 to replace my iPhone 6. One of the problems I had with my 6 was the wifi & bluetooth stopped working. I'm trying to turn off Find My Phone on the 6 to prepare it for a restore and sale. The problem I am having is there is no service and no wifi so it keeps getting an error saying it can't log. How do I go about turning off Find My Phone? Thanks in advance
I probably goofed up. Prior to posting I had gone to my iCloud account and deleted my old phone from iCloud. Of course I had not shut off the phone first. Now the phone has updated the iOS and still can't log onto iCloud so I can turn off find my phone.
Do you think the Genius Bar would be able to help get the phone reset? I am still stuck with a phone sitting on my desk waiting for a new home. Thanks for your help
