I have an (old) iPad 3 and am would like to use the AirPlay function. However, swiping up to enter the Control Centre does result in any options - it simply is not there (when I compare to the iPhone 5s' CC screen).
How do I enable the AirPlay function? Or does it not exist in the iPad 3?

Hi. It should work. The AirPlay option in iOS 9 only appears when an AirPlay receiver is detected. So your Apple TV or AirPort Express needs to be turned on and connected to the same WiFi network. An iPad 3 running iOS 8.x.x doesn't support AirPlay. It requires iOS 9 or later.
I'm running iOS 9.3.5, not 8.x.x. So it should work?
