I want notifications on both my iPhone and iWatch

Is there a way to do that? I'm missing tons of notifications. At this point I'm forced to keep my watch locked all day so I get the notifications on my phone, where I can feel/hear them. If that's the case then this iWatch is useless.

Hello x_andyturner,

Thanks for asking about your notifications here in the Apple Support Communities. I am happy to help offer some information about this.

The first thing we want to ensure is that all your data is safe. You can make a backup of your iPhone in iCloud or iTunes using this article : How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch .

Then, according to the help article here: Notifications on your Apple Watch , it states "If your iPhone is unlocked, you'll get notifications on your iPhone, instead of your Apple Watch. If your iPhone is locked or asleep, you'll get notifications on your Apple Watch, unless your Apple Watch is locked with your passcode." There is a section to check if you are not receiving any notifications on your Apple Watch at all titled "If you don't see notifications on your Apple Watch".

You may also need to look into adjusting the haptic response of your Apple Watch so that you can be more easily notified when the Notifications do come in. More information can be found here:

Adjust brightness, text size, sounds, and haptics - Apple Watch User Guide

Thanks again for seeking help here in Apple Support Communities. Have a great rest of your day.
