Importing artist picture

Hey Apple, I would like to import artist photos so that I don't see the annoying pink microphone when I sort my iTunes library on my Apple TV. Can someone please reply and let me know why artist pictures are blank. My iTunes library has all album artwork. It is only the artist photos that are missing. Thanks in advance.
