Q: Issue with wi-fi automatically connecting after upgrading to Sierra
I recently install Sierra on my Mac 2011. Overall, everything seemed to go fine, but when it goes to sleep for an extended period of time, it will not automatically connect to my wi-fi. I click on the wi-fi icon and the it is there and when I click on it, it connects.
I have tried a couple of things such as removing the network and letting it be re added, and that did not work. I also found an article that referenced removing some files and then restarting the Mac and let those be recreated. That did not work.
I have a MacBook Air as well, and I have had no issue with it automatically connecting to my wi-fi when it wakes up.
Is there any other suggestions to resolve this. It is just a nuisance that I would like to get rid of, so that my kids do not have to worry about picking the correct wi-fi.
