Q: my apple watch speaks the time

besides displaying the time the watch also speaks the time.  How do I have it not speak the time

Hi

 

To turn off VoiceOver (which is what you are most likely describing), follow one of these steps:

 

  • On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > General > Accessibility > VoiceOver > turn off VoiceOver.

 

  • Or use Siri:
    • Use Hey Siri or press and hold the Digital Crown (round button) then say: “Turn off VoiceOver.”

 

  • Or, if the Accessibility Shortcut has been enabled and configured for VoiceOver, you can disable the feature on your watch:
    • On your watch: try quickly pressing the Digital Crown three times.
