Q: MacBook Pro 13" (2015) & Dell P2715Q
I'm clearly doing something wrong and I hope someone has a similar setup to me.
I have an Apple Thunderbolt cable which I have read can be used in place of a mDP cable.
I connected the Dell P2715Q screen to my MacBook Pro 13" (2015) and and nothing happened, I then read up about MST/SST so I changed a setting on the screen to use MST Primary, MST Secondary and Off (SST) and still no joy.
I restarted the MacBook multiple times, I then dug out the cable included with the Dell screen (although the cable is too short for what I need), it's a DP to mDP and that works fine, with it in SST mode I get full 4K resolution at 60Hz.
Either I have misunderstood completely, or the Thunderbolt cable isn't suited to what I am trying to do.
Any assistance is appreciated!
MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch,Early 2015), macOS Sierra (10.12)

From the Dell site, your computer has these input ports:
Input Connectors
HDMI, DisplayPort, Mini DisplayPort, MHL
Thunderbolt is not on the list.
