Oct 15, 2016 7:41 AM in response to G Adamsby Rudegar,I would go to epson site and see if they have a driver which support Sierra if they don't then they may be working on one in which case you have to wait or if they don't plan on supporting sierra you have the choices between downgrade to an osx version they do support or getting a new printer

Oct 15, 2016 8:21 AM in response to Rudegarby G Adams,Thank you Rudegar,
I think it would be a retrograde step to revert to earlier Operating Systems. The installation of drivers is managed by Apple and they show the driver for EP-760 as being installed in Sierra so it would appear to be a glitch in the driver.
I have written to Epson about it and they have sent an acknowledgement but their Techy staff do not work at the weekends so it will be a few days before I get a reply.
I appreciate you taking the time to reply.

Oct 15, 2016 11:39 AM in response to G Adamsby CMCSK,I have an Epson printer and had the same issue after ugrading to Sierra. This is what I did - I went into System Preferences/Printer & deleted the printer(s) showing. I then connected my printer directly to my iMac via usb and started from scratch. Reentered the printer on System Preferences/Printer. While still connected to my computer I set up the printer's wi-fi settings per the printer user manual. Disconnected printer from computer & put back in the room I got it from. Restarted the iMac. Epson XP 400 has been working perfectly ever since.
I found this after doing all of the above - macOS Sierra: Reset the printing system
Something to try while waiting for Monday to come rolling around.

Oct 15, 2016 3:29 PM in response to CMCSKby G Adams,Many thanks. Appears to be the information I need.
I will wait until Monday rolls around before trying it when I hope to have a USB cable and some moral support available.
I will let you know how I get on.

Oct 17, 2016 2:12 AM in response to G Adamsby G Adams,I have followed your instructions and regret to say it didn't work. When looking at the systems preferences I noticed that the driver was shown as version 2. Epson show the latest version as being 3.2 dmg. I have downloaded this but cannot install it as I get a message saying it is Apple's responsibility. I have written to the Apple help desk and have had an acknowledgement saying they will reply within 48 hours. So I must wait impatiently.
If you have any more suggestions I would welcome them, but it looks as though the ball is in Apple's court.
Thanks again.
Regards
George
