"Love" button missing from lock screen

There is no longer a "Love" button on my lock screen when I use Apple Music. Why was this nixed from the latest release of iOS?

iPhone 6, iOS 10.0.2

Hi jdwalworth,

I see from your post that you no longer see the option to love or dislike a song when using Apple Music. I'd like to help out!

Take a look at the following information to see how you can accomplish this:

Tell us what you love or dislike

When you listen to songs and albums, you can let us know if you love or dislike something. We use this information to give you better suggestions.

  • On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch: While listening to a song, tap the player at the bottom of the screen to open the Now Playing screen. Tap User uploaded file, then choose User uploaded file Love or User uploaded file Dislike.
  • On your Mac or PC: Hold your pointer over the song name at the top of iTunes, then click User uploaded fileand choose Love or Dislike.

If you change your mind, you can change your selection. Just tap or click User uploaded file Love or User uploaded file Dislike again to clear it.

Refine the suggestions in Apple Music on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or PC - Apple Support
Cheers!
