I sent a mail with attachments to a pc laptop. the mail did not display correctly and the text body disappeared.

I sent a very comprehensive mail to a recipient that opened the mail with a PC based mail program. The first line of text only was displayed and all the attachments that where in the body of the mail went to the attachment window and the rest of the text disappeared completely. This has cost me aloof money and I am furious. Please can someone resolve this? I have screen grabs of my mail which looks completely different to the mail that was received on the other side. Vital information was missing.

I am inclined to cast blame on your recipient's Mail client OR his email service provider's security filters

My reasoning is that their provider gets it first in the transmission - where their anti-SPAM strategy can do any number of things, but most likely would mark it AS SPAM and stick it in an IMAP folder for Junk

My Mail client on Windows 10 is Mozilla Thunderbird which also as fairly robust security - even for "trusted" senders it sometimes "blocks" content and then Barks about it (there is a BUTTON that has a menu of various "allow" options)

Attachments are "old school" culprits for containing malware, so some level of sandboxing of ANY attachment might not be a bad idea - and your report multiple attachments!

Without knowing the recipient's email provider and their Mail client software (and version), I can't give any more than this explanation of possible things to look at

You didn't mention anything in the email about a Nigerian Prince or Spanish_Prisoner did you?
