Can't save Digital Messages on iMessage?

So i just got a new iPhone 6s, which comes with the iOS 10 update. the problem is when my friend sends me a Digital Message, I don't have a "Keep" option. He doesn't seem to have any problem with it, so i don't know what could be the problem. I did back it up not too long ago, and just updated to iOS 10.0.2, so maybe it has something to do with that? I dont wanna restart it though, since I already have some photos and notes of the like I dont want to delete. Any other way to fix this?
