Show my location circle in Maps

When I press on the "Show your current location" button in Maps, it shows me a blue dot where I am and a big blue circle around it. So far so good.

But then I want to remove it so I can see better my surrounding.

How do I remove this big blue circle?

Open System Preferences > click on the pad lock & enter your admin name & password to open the lock , click on date and time select time zone > uncheck the box set time zone automatically using current location .

NOTE : This option must not be unchecked as difficulties can arise to login in Apple ID & iCloud websites .

If you turn off Location Services on your Mac, your precise location will not be sent to Apple. To deliver relevant search suggestions, Apple may use the IP address of your Internet connection to approximate your location by matching it to a geographic region.

Even if you disable Location Services, third-party applications and websites may still use other ways to determine your location. For safety purposes, however, your Mac’s location information may be used for emergency calls to aid response efforts regardless of whether you enable Location Services.

That larger blue circle is purposely transparent to allow viewing beneath it at any zoom factor. Maps does not give the option to move the epicenter of that blue circle over the exact location of your router when it is out in the street in front of the neighbors — as mine shows. It also does not provide a means to vanish that blue cloud on demand, as it should.

I would not recommend disabling the Time Server, or Location Services in System Preferences to get rid of the blue cloud, as it also removes all visual indication of your specific router location.
