Q: what must be done in order for my HTML to play my Music as a background

what must be done in order to make my HTML images to play the background Music, again. I have upgraded the extensions,with the help of iTunes. The music is playing, but hidden in a complete BLACK background.  The image picture keeps saying - a plug in,  is missing, even though the Music extensions are updated to the mp3, mp4. and now the swf is not playing...I've been trying to download  Quicktime, well I'm getting no where fast...PS I know all the Mac upgrades are the culprits...    I have a Mac Book Pro 10.12 MaxOS Sierra.....HELP...HELP...and TY
