Windows 10 issues

Hi,

I recently installed windows 10 through bootcamp and am having some display and performance issues. In windows 10 when a popup window appears (for example: a "do you wish to save" etc) nothing shows in the window and it is basically showing through to the desktop. If I move the window around a but it sometimes appears and I can make my selection.

Any ideas on this? could it possibly be a graphics card issue? Below is my hardware info.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

What is the version of AMD GPU drivers installed on your Mac?

Here's what I found. Is this what you meant? I tried to update but it said I have the most current drivers.

If you run Apple Software Update on the Windows side, do you see any pending updates? I suggest creating a Windows System Restore point before you actually run the update.

Yes, There is an update. I created a restore point and ran the update but it didn't work. The screen goes black and eventually it goes back to my login screen. The update still shows as needing to be installed on Apple software update.

This is a a known issue. Please see Re: Two Boot Camp updates repeatedly offered in Apple Software Update (ASU) . Can you apply the latest version of BC6 drivers by downloading it to a USB Flash drive and running the setup.exe manually? Please check the version of GPU drivers after the update.

Ok, I followed the instructions from the link you gave, and saved the BC6 drivers to my usb. When I tried to install those in windows it crashed part way through the install. Same as when I installed through ASU. Not sure if I'm missing something? Do I need to first remove former drivers installed?

In Bootcamp.xml, search for AMD and check the version of the GPU driver.

Not sure if I'm looking for the right thing here. See attachments. This is where I got the version 6.0.6251 and the second clip is word search for AMD which only brought up results for the audio bus lower filter.

Is there a different way I need to view or search that xlm file?
