Q: FAIL to install windows 8.1 on 5k imac late 2014

im trying to install again windows 8.1 and i have this error message on bootcamp after i checked the last squire only!

fyi i have windows 8.1 on my usb .

and the messege im getting is :windows support software not detected.

if u need any further information make sure to comment ,so i can reply asap!

    ok so i did everything and it worked until i got to the point i needed to choose the disk im going to install the windows on ,

    1.i chose the partition iv "made" and i couldnt click it and press next

    2.so i pressed on reset but this time next button worked ,waited couple secs and messege pop up and says that i cannot install windows on this partition.

    I removed windows partition by now.

     

    what do i need to do?

    Did you do the following steps? On your iMac, this should have both Drive0 and Drive1 and you need to choose Drive1:Partition 4, since you have a Fusion drive.

    this is what i did  and after the second picture i pressed next and i couldnt continue the installation

    Please try the partitioning again and leave the BC/Windows partition. We should check the partitions before we clean up and figure out the issue for the next attempt.

     

    Before you retry, can you disconnect all external storage and run the following two procedures?

     

    Reset the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac - Apple Support

    i did the test and nothing wrong,but when you said leave  windows/BC what did u mean by that ?

    If you did not remove the BC/Windows partition, can you post the output of the

    Did you run the two resets before retrying the partitioning?

    After both resets without any storage, choose the last option, Install... and partition and test. If it fails, do not delete the partitions.

    Just to clarify, are you able to install Windows without any issues and does all your Apple-specific hardware work properly? If yes, please back up OSX, Windows and create a Windows System Restore point.

    is it just me or the speakers on windows do not work as they do on os x ?
