songs not syncing to playlist

here's the deal: i bought like 5 new songs last night and added them to my most-used playlist. when I sync my phone, all 5 songs show up on my phone but 2 of them don't show up on the playlist. in itunes 'on your iphone' it SAYS that they're there, but on my actual phone they aren't. i can manually add them on my phone but they disappear as soon as i sync it again. no error messages, no audio issues.

i've literally deleted all music off my phone and put it back on, and everything but those 2 songs shows up where it's supposed to. is this an itunes issue, an ios10 issue, or what
