Q: typing language

I try to change the typing language from english to greek but cant because when I go to system preferences the input sources icon doesn't exist..

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.4)

    What OS X version are you using?  

     

    In recent versions, the input source icon for Greek has changed.  It is no longer the Greek flag, but a symbol for the Greek Alphabet:  Screen Shot 2016-10-16 at 10.36.02 AM.png

     

    Is that your problem?  Or do you really not find anything under system preferences/keyboard/input sources for Greek.
