Q: recents voicemail won't open

I Open my phone app icon. Where I can access recent calls voice mails ect. But it just stays gray then goes back to my home screen after 30 sec. iPhone 6s

    Hello Kayacoco,

    Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding when trying to access voicemail the option stays gray and goes back to the home screen. I know voicemail messages can be very important. I'm happy to help.

    If you haven't done so, try force closing the Phone app and trying again. To force close the app double-click the Home button, swipe left or right to find the app, and swipe up to close the app. If the issue persists try restarting your iPhone. Restarting can resolve many unexpected behaviors. Use the steps below:
    1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
    2. Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
    3. After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.
    Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
