iPod

Q: ios 10 up grade

Since the upgrade to ios 10 i dont get a sound alert when receiving an imessage from ipod touch to iphone all other message alerts work fine anyone know why? i have an iphone 6 and the ipod is an ipod touch 6 i didnt have any problems before the up grade?

    Try:

    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost      

    Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

    - Reset all settings                  

    Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

    All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

    - Restore from backup. See:

    something i've been noticing lately any ios app I try to update takes longer than normal.  my internet speed is the same as its always been, nothing has changed there.  I tried reset the networking settings, rebooting router and shutting off ipod.
