Q: Mac login password incorrect first time

Hi,

I have an Early 2014 MacBook Air running Sierra. When I enter my password at the login screen after waking from sleep mode, I always get the incorrect password "wiggle". I know that I am typing in my password correctly, but the first attempt is always deemed incorrect, and the second attempt works every time. Is there a reason or fix for this.

No actually it isn't, but I've been using this password on an iMac running El Capitan and have never had this problem before.

I having same problem too after update to sierra. Every 1st time i key in the password always incorrect. But it is impossible because my password just only one character! I have no idea how to fix it.

So it seems the issue can be solved by using a password that has at least three characters in it.
