iTunes says I have 20 hours and 28 minutes of purchased music. Does anyone know what this translates to in storage requirements? Can I just buy a couple of USB sticks and move it over? What size would I need? If you have a link to specific instructions that would be great.

The same place that shows you how much time, shows you how much storage.
You can copy the music to whatever storage device you like.
You should always have backup copy of your computer.
I'm not all that familiar with iTunes, but it gives me the number of items purchased, the time I mentioned in my previous post and then it says "Edit Playlist" and then on the same line it says "Shuffle All".
I wouldn't mind knowing the size of all the music, but the purchased items are my top priority.
I'm using iTunes 12.5.1.21.
