I understand that you're looking to allow your Apple Watch to unlock your MacBook Pro, but aren't able to enable that option on your Mac in System Preferences. You're certainly on the right path to consider your Apple ID, as you will need to have two-factor authentication setup (as opposed to two-step verification) in order to utilize this feature. If attempting to enable the option takes you to the iCloud System Preference pane, you may need to verify that the Apple ID you've signed into iCloud with on your Mac is the same as the Apple ID signed in to iCloud on your Apple Watch. These two requirements and additional requirements are indicated in the article linked below.Make sure that your Apple Watch is using watchOS 3, and your mid-2013 or newer Mac model is using macOS Sierra. For details, see the Continuity system requirements.
Make sure that your Apple ID is using two-factor authentication instead of two-step verification. Learn more.
Make sure that your devices are set up as follows:
- Your Mac has both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi turned on.
- Your Mac and Apple Watch are signed in to iCloud with the same Apple ID.
On your Mac, choose Apple menu () > System Preferences, then click iCloud.
On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app, then go to General > Apple ID. - Your Apple Watch is using a passcode.
On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app, then tap Passcode. - Your Mac has ”Allow your Apple Watch to unlock your Mac” selected in Security & Privacy preferences.
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Security & Privacy, then select the General tab.
Automatically unlock your Mac with your Apple Watch

I have done all of this thing but once I try to tick the box to enable the auto unlock it shows such image:
And I click open icloud, which I already registered, and i can see both my iwatch and my macbook in the devices.
Then it asks me to enter the password and enter it and it show the following:
Which I really didn't know how to approve my computer since i used both my Iphone and my Ipad and find no such option that allows me to approve my macbook!(both my iphone and ipad was activated for two factor verification).
Thanks for your help!

Oct 17, 2016 7:22 PM in response to jerryzstby brenden dv,Thanks much for the screenshots, they definitely help clear things up. The screenshot of System Preferences > iCloud from your Mac indicates that your Mac appears to be awaiting the input of your password and six-digit verification code. If you're not able to locate the window that should appear for you to input this information, you might try starting your Mac up in Safe Mode by shutting your Mac down, then starting it up and holding the Shift key down after you hear the startup tone: macOS Sierra: Start up in safe mode
Let us know if this helps!
Sincerely. -
