Imac 27" (oct 2015) ram capacity
For 27" Imacs (Oct 2015) What is the memory capacity? I've seen both 32GB and 64GB. Can someone clarify?

I have been running the late 2015 27" iMac with 64 GB from OWC for about six months with no problems. It's expensive, perhaps because the iMac uses notebook/laptop RAM and notebook users often need or want less RAM than desktop users.

SAve yourself a lot of trouble and get your ram from either Crucial http://www.crucial.com/ or
OWC https://eshop.macsales.com/ only.
Thanks Mike! Any idea why there's a difference between what apple says and the actual capacity?
When Apple introduces a new Mac they offer it with the memory available at the time, as higher capacity chips become available they never test and update their spec. A vendor such as OWC tests and guarantees their ram to work in higher configurations. Crucial sticks to Apples spec.
