itunes 12.5.1.21 not playing compilation albums

i've never had this problem EVER until the last upgrade, but itunes will no longer play a compilation album in consecutive order from album view like it always did before. instead it jumps to whatever artist comes next alphabetically in my library. for instance, say track #1 of a comp is by an artist called danton. instead of going to track #2 on the comp after the prior track completes it plays the first track of the first album by danzig (danzig being the artist that comes alphabetically after danton in my library). what the heck is going on?
