Oct 16, 2016 7:32 PM in response to trervorcoryby Barney-15E,That isn't a preview. It is the message you are viewing when you select it.
Just close the viewing pane by dragging the divider all the way to the right side of the window. If you want to View a message, double-click to open it in its own window. As you scroll down the list, they won't be marked as read.
You can set the preview up to 5 lines in the message list, so you can preview quite a bit as you scroll through the emails.

Oct 19, 2016 7:33 PM in response to Barney-15Eby trervorcory,Good evening,
Thank you for your reply. I tried what is mentioned in your reply, however, I'm not exactly able to do as instructed, as I'm viewing my emails as "Use classic layout". If I remove the Preview Pane which is below, the emails are actually kept as Unread as I scroll up and down, but I can no longer preview them at all. What am I doing wrong or missing ? I basically would like to scroll up and down within my email list without turning them as read, but also to have a preview at the bottom.
