cannot remove footer and header in Preview

Hi,

Every time I convert a website page into a PDF, Preview insists on inserting a header and footer.

Both the header and footer frequently interfere with the first/last 1-2 lines of text, often making these unreadable.

I've opened markup and inspector toolbars, as well as preferences.

all help appreciated

Using 10.11.3 (el capitan), version 8.1 of Preview.

This has nothing to do with Preview. It is how the page is "printed" to PDF. The PDF reaches Preview fully formed.

If there is anything to do it is at the moment the PDF is created (in Safari, or whatever).

In the Print dialog, make sure that "Print headers and footers" is UNchecked:
