Q: How can I resolve MacBook Pro Calendar reminder malfunction?

My MacBook Pro gets stuck on regenerating reminders banner on my desktop over and over again. I am running latest Sierra with all necessary updates. None of my other Apple devices are doing this and all share same iCloud calendar. My iMac (21.5 inch, Late 2013) is not doing this nor any iOS devices.The MacBook Pro in question is a (Retina 15-inch, Late 2015). I've doubled checked and mirrored all properties in both machines for iCalendar. I've double checked and mirrored all Notifications properties also System Preferences, etc. What have I missed please?

Try signing out of iCloud on the MBP and signing in again. Sometimes it needs a shake-up!

I did as you suggested and don't have a "this solved" yet because the appointment it was happening with is over. It has happened several times in the past so I'm going to give it time before I say. Thank's for the suggestion and I hope it doesn't come back. So far, so good.
