Has anyone figured out how to change the size of an image in Photos App for emailing in the iOS Mail App?

It appears that the old solution for this in iOS 9 is no longer available or working in iOS 10.

You used to be able to change the size/resolution of an image/photo after sharing and loading the image into iOS Mail app, tap on the sizes of the image/s in the cc/bcc panel and a series of thin blue boxes appear that have different image resolution/sizes you could choose from to email image/s.

This appears to be no longer working in iOS Mail under iOS 10.

Has anyone discovered the new method, if any, on how to accomplish this action?

Late to this discussion but I had the same question. Figured I'd answer it to help someone else with this issue.

It seems the mail app does not show any image selection or resize options if the image falls below a certain size.

Hope this helps.

I've had a couple of users tell me that the image size total listed in the cc/bcc panel has gone missing with no other way to resize their photos/images.

I had them do a hard reset of their iPads, but they replied back to me saying there was no change.

They couldn't get their images in the Photos app to come up with resize options in the iOS Mail app.

So, I needed to confirm whether or not this procedure was, in fact, still valid.

Thanks!

You're welcome. I have seen a number of threads where users claim that they can no longer save images from mail either. That function still works in iOS 10 and I'm not sure why some people seem to have issues with it.
