Q: Names not showing on imessage any more?

  imessge  on my desktop mac is only showing 1 or 2 initials in a circle (also photos if available) but not  full names of people I send to? It changed itself. It WAS showing names at one time. i can't understand why or find anything to change this.. It won't let me extend the  side column. I have too many people to text  with the same letter! help please

    Hi,


    Check the iPhone and the Mac are using the same Account such as iCloud to Sync the Contacts app info.

    I don't use this on my other devices.. i don't think thats they issue...  it was working then it suddenly  one day decided to be initials only.. makes no sense why i can't  widen the left bar side so maybe it owuld work again.?   this is what i see now

    actually i do have it on my phone.. and i pad and they are fine.

    Hi,

     

    Ahh, that is slightly different.

    The dividing line will act like any other.  If you mouse over it the cursor will change and you can click and drag the line to the right which expands the Side Bar.
