Who is your carrier? It seems that AT&T is the problem. Don't use emoji's until they resolve it and shorten your texts.

Yes AT&T

from the link above we have figured out it's 99.9% an ATT issue. ATT admit to it and have no fix yet. its not just emoji and text length, punctuation like apostrophes can cause it.

I'm having same issue as well....when texting from my iphone6 to an adroid and i have AT&T.
