iOS Mail creates "Junk" folder which Outlook sees as a duplicate when using "Move to Junk"

I use Outlook.com as my main personal email. I know I should move to my iCloud.com email address... but... until then, I like my outlook.com email. Everything works great in iOS email until I see a message that is junk and I use the iOS mail option under the flag icon to "Move to Junk." When this is used, it creates a new "Junk" folder on my outlook account. And even though the outlook.com junk folder is called "Junk Email" it somehow sees "Junk" as a duplicate name.

When this happens, I get an email from Outlook.com stating that I have a duplicate folder and that I should rename it or remove it.

One or more folders in your mailbox have name conflicts with others or system reserved names.

Folders with these names can't be downloaded by your IMAP e-mail program.

Junk

Please connect to your mailbox using your Web browser and rename those folders. Once renamed, those folders will be displayed in your IMAP e-mail application correctly.

My question is why does iOS move the mail to a newly created "Junk" folder and not use the existing "Junk Email" folder? Can I change this somewhere?

Thank you.

Bob
