Oct 18, 2016 1:01 PM in response to ltc05gjmby braden85,Hello ltc05gjm,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
I see that your groups seem to have disappeared, even though the individual cards are still visible. Let's try the simplest first. Open Contacts. To to "View" in the Menu Bar and then select to "Show Groups". It that appears to be selected and shows "Hide Groups" instead, click it to Hide Groups and then Show Groups.
If this doesn't work, the post back and we can take it from there.
Best regards. -

Oct 18, 2016 6:12 PM in response to ltc05gjmby iEvan 3.0,If your contacts are synced with iCloud, maybe have a quick look at www.icloud.com and/or one of your other Apple devices (if you have any others) to see if the groups are visible there. There is also a way to restore contacts using the Settings app-thing on iCloud.com if it comes to that. Before restoring anything or messing with a large collection of contacts, I'd export what you have now just in case, and just keep the resulting file on your desktop until this has been solved. My Mac isn't in front of me just now but I believe it should be File > Export or something to that effect.
