Q: Importing Itunes XML backup back into library

Hi All, I have a new laptop and have exported my library from my old laptop as a XML file, does anybody know how to import this XML file back into my library in Itunes?

File > Library > Import Playlist, however it is only going to work properly if all of the tracks are at the exact same file paths that they were on the previous computer. As a rule you simply need to copy the entire iTunes folder from the old machine to the new one. Things only get complicated if you haven't used the default settings for the library and have either moved to media folder, or added content from locations outside of it without making copies inside the media folder.
