Q: How to color folders

How to colour folders

I don't like using the dot system for colouring folders. I'd prefer to have a system of colours and shades in order to visually lock on to the folders I need at any one time. I have tried to follow YouTube vids on this but they don't work even though I do follow the steps religiously. Any help would be appreciated. I have a MacBook Pro and use El Captan. As far as i can see there are no commercial folder changers on the market for MAC.

Well you can customize folder following the link above, or adapt to the new way of dots, the colored folders in Finder is no more.
