How long does it take to verify a business on Apple Maps?

The nonprofit that I'm doing some service work was not on Apple Maps. If someone had an iPhone and they were using the maps app, the business would be nowhere to be found. I've gone ahead and created their business profile, and it has been over 3 months that the profile was "in review" - initially there was a dot next to the "in review" that was filled with a color. Now, the whole thing is grey (still says "in review"). Does the color of the box have any additional meaning?

I already verified the business by phone, and assumed it would be complete within a week or so, but that hasn't been the case. Does anyone know how long this should take?

We are all other users here and do not work for Apple, so none of us would probably have any idea how this kind of thing is handled by Apple. Although it is most likely too late at this point, I'd suggest writing a snail mail letter to the Executive Relations dept. at Apple's corporate address detailing your problem, including your Case ID.

Well, I really wouldn't know which department would be responsible for that; how about you use the same path you used to try to set it up? Or, here are the contact possibilities (there is no customer service email as such - there is tech support, but that certainly would not be what you need):

Last resort: call their corporate office and ask where to direct your inquiry.

I started using Yelp to add business in the Killeen, TX area. It took about 3 months before it showed. But with iOS 9 I have added business with a week time turn around. i read https://mapsconnect.apple.com/ is for Business to update their information so this might be a start for you. Just keep editing and adding it, Use Yelp and try Mapsconnect and it should show on the map soon.

I have a weird obsession to update Apple maps when i can. I just want it to be really good.

We are a paintball business with two locations in the Phoenix area. All of our hours, including our holiday hours are accurate, including Yelp which is what drives search for Apple yet our displayed hours still show us as closed. We've been on the phone for over 3 hours trying to find someone within the Maps Connect department who can expedite our approval process so that it is out of "In Review" status, but have yet to receive confirmation of our problem outside of our Case ID. We are a seasonal business which makes the majority of our revenue in this two week span from Christmas to New Years and we are halfway through our money season and are losing half of our revenues daily due to this lack of up to date information for our customers and prospects. Does anyone have any tips or tricks to have this addressed by an actual human in a timely manner before we lose our entire revenue period? We've spoken with several agents, and a Senior Advisor only to send an email documenting our issues without reply. Any assistance would be welcome! Thank you.
