Q: iMovie won't recognize Photos
I have iMovie '09(8.0.6) and Photo 1.0.1, my iMovie will no longer allow me to import Photos into my iMovie projects, I've looked all over the web for help but nothing has worked to resolve this issue.
Any help would be appreciated.

Your iMovie version can only access iPhoto and Aperture Libraries. It has been written, before Photos for Mac has been developed and simply does not support Photos. If you want to access your Photos Library from iMovie, upgrade to iMovie 10.1.2 to have a compatible version.
