Q: How to find Notes in TimeMachine backup

I lost a note in Notes 4.2 under ElCapitan 10.11.6. I tried to find the note back via TimeMachine, but I don't know and see where the backup is stored in TimeMachine.

Somebody can me show the solution?

Thanx in advance!

Please visit Pondini's Time Machine FAQ for help with Time Machine. This is an extensive site with most everything you may need for using Time Machine. You will not find a better resource for Time Machine in one location. Due to the passing of James Pondini the site is no longer being updated. Therefore, some of the information may be a little outdated.

Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J.  When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder.  Select Library.

    ~/Library/Group Containers/group.com.apple.notes                           Notes location

Thank you for this site. It can be very helpful indeed. But with my configuration it doesn't bring me much further:

Notes > Lion and later > Not Available.

Thank you for your help. I already reached so far, but with that path I reach a collection of folders without the possibility to see what's in each folder (only names with numbers and characters).
