Q: iPhone 7 Battery Not Charging

My iPhone 7 is not charging when plugged in to both USB charger or with the wall power brick. It is a fully updated iPhone 7 purchased on launch day. The battery stays stuck at 16%, doesn't go up, doesn't go down. The software becomes super glitchy and won't move off of the home screen. The phone recognizes there's a charger plugged in and shows it to be charging but the battery icon or percentage never changes.

Any help from the community or Apple? Seems a bit ridiculous for a 4 week old phone?

Make an appointment at the Apple Genius Bar for service. If needed find an Apple Store - Find a Store - Apple.

Follow the steps here, including checking the charging port for any debris and contacting Apple Support or making a Genius Bar reservation if necessary:

Just reset it holding power button and volume down button for 20 seconds, happened to my one once and after restart everything went smoothly and problem never came back.

Done this a few times. My phone now is restarting itself over and over again and still not charging. There is nothing wrong with debris in the charging port. Possible I got a faulty phone? Can't get to an Apple Store for 4 days.
