iPhone 7 Battery Not Charging

The advice about debris in the connection port was good. It fixed my problem. I couldnt see the debris. I switched off the phone and prodded around with a straightened out paper clip. Eventually to my surprise a small chunk of compacted paper suddenly became loose. You need to be absolutely sure there is no debris hiding in the port. I was surprised when the paper suddenly became dislodged and appeared as it wasn’t obvious it was there. On switching my phone on again it was fine. Good luck.

My phone just keeps looping on the recharge cycle when I plug it in to power. Have checked plug and cable and bought new cable - worked for a while. Then same, plug it in and goes charge, off, charge off. Any ideas?

I’ve had the same issue since I got the 7plus, but it just now became a regularly thing. Before it was only off and on. But since my daughter dropped my phone and cracked it, there’s no way Apple will resolve. 🙁

I waited to get this one. I had so many issues at rollout with the 6. Now, my NEW 7 doesn't even recognize there's a charger. Along with a ton of other issues. I love the ease of the iPhone compared to non apple products but am considering switching. The quality has gone down SO much!

I had the same problem after purchasing my iPhone and having it for a week. I tried everything listed in the replies and nothing seemed to work. I finally made an appointment for service. The apple people could not figure out what was wrong. Since my phone was still under Manufacturing warranty they replaced it with brand new device.

I have tried the steps mentioned in your previous comment, and it doesn't worked for me.

Once I turn off my iPhone 7plus and connect the charger cable my phone turns on but not initiating charging.

I think I really have to visit a service centre.

I just got my iPhone 7 plus in January 25, of this year. And itnot charging anymore. Just had it for a week.

Make an appointment at the Apple Genius Bar for service. If needed find an Apple Store - Find a Store - Apple.
