Q: my softwere up date wont load it just stays purple and wont do anything i left it all night and still didnt load any

please help it just stays purple and does'nt load for ever

Which software are you trying to update?

Mac?

Or a specific app?

Which OS X is currently installed on your Mac?

i have 10.6.8 and i just clicked the apple symbol in top right and click software up date and it asked for me to up date it and i did and still didn't load at all.
