Q: USS INDIANAPOLIS Movie

Does anyone know why you can only rent the USS Indianapolis movie and not buy it? When you go to the studio website it says release date of yesterday. I do not see it playing in any movie theaters near me and I live near a very large city.

Rental only at the iTunes Store.

Rental only on Xfinity as well.

I saw that too, but usually you can buy a film same day as release (indie typicaly) but not rent before you buy? And 10.00 is pricey for a rental. In my opinion. Thank you for responding.
