Q: my Contact app is not allowing me to delete 'old' email addresses on my iMac. el capitan.

My contact app does not allow me to change email addresses or move new names to groups.

I can delete in the edit mode but old addresses return when back to the 'done' mode.

any help please? Errors in biPad air and my  iMac.
