Q: PC can't find my iPhone, but iTunes can.
After I connected my iPhone SE(iOS 10.0.2) to my PC(running on Windows 7), iTunes popped up and everything seemed to work fine. I wanted to copy some videos from Photos but when I opened My Computer, there were no traces of a plugged mobile device anywhere. I look at device manager and see an "Unspecified" kind of device named "Apple USB Device Driver". I already tried restarting both my PC and my iPhone however, nothing changes. I saw old posts about this and it says i need to download a driver of some sort and I don't think that would solve anything because iTunes detects my device.
Could it be something from iOS 10? I was able to import my photos and videos when my iPhone was still running iOS 9. I updated iOS about a week ago and this is my first time connecting my phone to the PC as iOS 10(I downloaded the update WITHOUT using iTunes and the PC itself, practically had faith in our WiFi connection). Maybe you all have same problems too?
