Q: Safari crashes violently on El CApitan 10.11.6
Safari (v.10.0) crashes on EL Capitan 10.11.6 - Nothing of the posted suggestions helps as the crash is immediate when Safari is launched. I.e. there is no time to even enter the Preferences...and apply the suggested solutions in this forum. This is a serious bug. I wonder how is it possible for Apple to has taken so long to provide a fix !!
Safari is a key product!!!
Any other help is welcome,
PS: that obliged me to use Firefox and Chrome even since I "upgraded"to El Capitan

Does Safari works with another account on the computer ? (You can try to create one just for the test).
If it works, try to move the folder called "Safari" located in the Library folder of the problematic user and give it another try :-)
