Unable to add electronic gift card to Apple Wallet - iOS 10.0.3

I recently received an e-gift card for recycling my old iPhone. I am having issues adding it to Apple Wallet.

• I tried clicking the "Add to Apple Wallet" button in the e-mail (Outlook for iOS), it kicks me into Chrome and I get an error message: "Sorry, your Pass cannot be installed to Passbook at this time."
• I then printed the card and tried to scan the barcode, and receive the following error message: "No Pass Available for This Code"

I have an iPhone 7 running iOS 10.0.3
