Q: internet recovery

I have an iMac running OS 10.11.6

I plan to run internet recovery and pair it with disk utility hard drive erase

If I do this, will I still have access to Migration Assistant once the smoke clears?

iMac, macOS Sierra (10.12)

If you erase the drive using internet recovery, when finished, it will either reinstall the original OS (if OS Lion or later) or you can restore from your Time Machine backup or bootable clone.

Using Setup Assistant during the initial install/setup is much better than using Migration Assistant later. But yes, Migration Assistant is available and included.
