Q: Messages

Hi, how do I search the "contents" inside my,  "~/Library/Messages/Archive/" stored on Mac Sierra? I don't want to go through each file, searching for something I said. I want to know if I can search all the files in the archive folder at once, in search for a phrase I said.

Open that folder then type the search term in the search field.

If you don't have Finder prefs set to search current folder, you'll have to click on Archive to limit the search to just that folder.

By default, Spotlight will not show results for "system" folders which includes your Library folder. However, if you open the folder and search there, you can get results for the subfolders.
