Since I have updated to Sierra it has been **** with my Mac. It takes so long to open Finder that the beach ball appears. I have noted that it goes bad when I try to save or export a photo to my disk; in fact, it is when I want to have access to my folders or files through a software. If it does not work, I am done. All the apps that are running will not close if I ask to. Over all this, I can not close my session or reboot the usual way; the screen stay on showing the image I use as background and nothing else, no Dock, no menu at top, nothing; sometimes it goes black but I can see that the screen is still on. The iMac does not respond to the keyboard, the mouse is still moving but nothing to do with it and it can stay like that for hours if I let it go; I tried it.
The activity monitor shows a line written in red : com.apple.appkit.xpc.openandsavepanelservice - not responding.
This is not particular to one software, I use many photo editing softwares.
To reboot I have to use the power button because nothing else will do the job.
I run EtreCheck and nothing obvious appeared.
Someone knows the answer to this?
This is very annoying and irritating.
iMac, macOS Sierra (10.12)
