Imessages sending green on iOS10, am I blocked?

Hi, I have been sending imessages to someone, and suddenly the messages have turned green. I figured they were in a bad service area, however it has been happening now for a week. I am using iOS10, and I believe they are using the same or iOS9. I cannot recall if after the first green text it said "sent as text message", or not. But now, after having sent two green texts, both don't have anything written underneath them - no delivered or sent as text message which I believe was under the first one at some point. The blue imessages from before still have the read receipt on them, if that information helps. Have I been blocked? Is there a way for me to tell?

Thank you.

I think it's when they getting ****** sometimes blue option then says sent as text message

Iphone message turned off when they go out because no credit but you only notice because you was unblocked under wifi then once they receive the sent as text they either got because tried on I or they block you straight away either to mess with your head or want a rise

Without punctuation, it's almost impossible to make sense of that.

I Am not sure I understand what you mean by if you cannot get to text message through carrier? When I text it goes green automatically. i think it has sent as text message before but aftwr texting once more. the sent as text message on the first one disappeared and now there are just two green texts. How can you change your iMessage send and received address? why would someone do that? Thank you!

If you're able to imessage other people in your contact list except for said contact then the issue is with this person phone.

They either have imessage turned off or in an area with a weak wifi or cellular data signal.

OK, so it doesn't nessesarily mean they blocked me. Even if the green text messages don't have sent as text under them? I doubt they would have weak service for over a week so having them turn their iMessage off would be the only thing that would seem to make sense. thank you.

Are they not replying back to you? That person could be a remote area without any service.

If you're able to send it as text message it doesn't mean this person has blocked you.

Short of asking the person, there is no way to know that you've been blocked.

OK, I even had my friend try it by blocking me and the messages went green but had a different trait as well. I just wanted to be sure. But if there is no way of telling then I won't keep trying. I kept reading that either you won't be able to see if you were blocked - as in they still deliver as imessages, or that they turn green - so I got worried. thank you for your help.
