Oct 18, 2016 7:11 PM in response to mcmboomboomby lllaass,I have installed it on my three Sierra compatible Macs and have no problems.
Possible problems is that yo may have tup update some apps to be compatible. Also, for some devices you need new Sierra-compatible drivers and such drivers are not always available. This applies to printers too. -
Oct 18, 2016 9:35 PM in response to mcmboomboomby Ciderkin,Sierra is a nightmare, I am full of regrets to upgraded all my compatible Macs to Sierra.
Some apps are not supporting, problems on my Wacom Tablet on Sierra, inputplugin is not working therefore I can't even type well in Sierra, etc.

Oct 19, 2016 5:13 AM in response to mcmboomboomby tynegal,I am working with Sierra and have had no problems (touches wood!). Suggest you back up to an external hard drive before downloading Sierra (as you should anyway) then you can always restore Garageband from this if there is a new version.

Oct 19, 2016 5:19 AM in response to mcmboomboomby JimmyCMPIT,Downloaded since the 10.12 GM was available, most stable OS X version I've used since 10.6.8
3rd party apps developers had the code for months before release, they had ample time to develop compatible software and Wacom is hardly the bastion of commitment when it comes to working drivers. Their tech support is 'contact us on Facebook' and its not Apples responsibility to fix 3rd party apps.

Where are you reading? If you are judging the quality of Sierra by the posts here in this help forum you have to realize that only users with problems post here. You can't judge Sierra based on the posts here just as you can't judge the health of a city based on only visiting the hospital waiting room.
With respect to Garage Band I don't know. Others will have to advise you about that.

Oct 19, 2016 8:52 PM in response to JimmyCMPITby Ciderkin,I knew it's not Apple's responsibility to fix for the 3rd party apps, however,
the inputplugin is one of the function inside macOS Sierra which written by Apple, I wonder why it is not working properly... It is a big nightmare which you can't type in an OS. Ya know what I mean? -

Not sure that I correctly understood your question. Do you mean that, if you download Sierra, you are afraid that the music files you created will be lost? If this is your fear, please understand that files created by Garageband are not stored "in" Garageband. They are stored on your disk. The same is true for all current applications; when you create an Excel file for example, it is not stored in Excel, but on the disk. Replacing an old version of Excel by a new version does not mean replacing the files you created with Excel. The same is true with files created using Garageband, they aren't stored "in" Gareageband. Don't misunderstand this. If your disk is systematically backed up, you will not lose files, even when the application that made the files is gone.

Oct 20, 2016 9:26 AM in response to mcmboomboomby Csound1,If it does just put it back, apps are not in the dock, merely shortcuts to them. The apps are actually in the Applications folder.
Backup before upgrading
